Job Description:

In co-operation with the Canada Summer Jobs Program, Flex Point Security is seeking a social media content creator to join our team and help us grow our training provider, Flex Point Academy. Flex Point Academy offers top-notch training programs, including security guard courses and CPR certification. As part of Flex Point Security, we pride ourselves on empowering individuals with the skills they need to succeed. As a Social Media Content Creator, you'll be the voice of our brand across digital platforms. Your role involves crafting eye-catching posts, engaging videos, and impactful stories that connect with our audience and promote our training programs. Collaborating with our sales and media teams, you will design and execute social media strategies to drive awareness and enrollment, foster community engagement through meaningful interactions, and leverage analytics to refine your content.

Eligibility Requirements:

Be between 15 and 30 years of age at the beginning of the employment period
Be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or person to whom refugee protection has been conferred under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act for the duration of the employment
Have a valid Social Insurance Number at the start of employment and be legally entitled to work in Canada in accordance with relevant provincial or territorial legislation and regulations
Cannot be an International Student

Key Responsibilities:

Content Creation: Develop high-quality, engaging content, including posts, videos, reels, and stories, tailored for YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
Social Media Management: Plan, schedule, and post content while maintaining a consistent brand voice across all platforms.
Community Engagement: Actively interact with followers by responding to comments, answering inquiries, and fostering a sense of community.
Campaign Development: Design and implement social media campaigns to promote Flex Point Academy’s courses and services, increasing visibility and enrollment.
Analytics & Reporting: Monitor key performance metrics, analyze trends, and create actionable reports to improve engagement and reach.
Collaboration: Work with internal teams to align content with the company’s goals, ensuring messaging supports broader business objectives.

Compensation

$17.75 - $18.00 per hour
